When we strongly believe that something will definitely happen, our mind reassures us—even if we haven’t seen results yet. We keep going because we’ve seen others succeed, so we assume it will happen for us too.

For example, I saw an ad for a toothpaste where 4–5 people had white and healthy teeth. My mind concluded that if it worked for them, it would work for me too.

If the toothpaste doesn’t show immediate results, there are two possibilities:

With a positive mindset, my mind encourages me to keep using it, believing it will make a difference.

With a negative mindset, I might think the ad was misleading and it won’t work for me.

The truth is, not everything works the same for everyone. That’s why belief alone isn’t enough—understanding and research are equally important.
